Dukies in the NBA Summer League

Post by CameronBornAndBred » July 5th, 2010, 4:44 pm

G had a solid game today, although the Bobcats barely won after leading by at least 16 points in the first half. Henderson finished with 20, and had some really nice looking shots fall. Gordon Hayward made his pro debut in that game with 8 points.

McBobs just got tossed out of his game against Orlando for getting in a scuffle with Daniel Orton. He had 10 points before he got heaved.

Zoubek and Thomas play tonight at 7. I don't pay any special fees for NBAtv, but I'm able to watch the games, so if you have it you should be able to watch.

I thought McBobs looked pretty good before his scuffle with Daniel Orton (who was terrible). I didn't realize summer league was on and missed G's performance. Probably won't get to see Zoubs and Lance due to dinner plans. :(

Henderson was a star today, helping the Bobcats win a close one with 21 points. I only watched the last 5 minutes, but he played well, getting to the line with 30 seconds left to cut the lead and set up the beuzzer beating shot taken by his teamate (whose name I don't remember). Zoubs is playing in the last game again, I'll probably miss it. Bleah.

I can't find the article now, but read a few days ago that Lance was cut, though the Nets roster still shows his name.
