"They were able to forage and they stayed together while traveling," Dye said. "They did what lemurs do in the wild," including, apparently, striking out in search of young lady lemurs.
Someone needs to tell them that it's best not to head toward Chapel Hill when seeking out lady lemurs. :duke:

Escaped Lemurs? Could lasers be next?

Actually, I was told in law school (by a couple of guy friends) that going toward Chapel Hill was THE THING to do when seeking out women, because there wasn't any competition from the men of that other campus.....

OH MY GOSH, how do you catch a runaway lemur?

Apparently, you get 'em high:

(4+ minutes) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJoYlRH1Xdo

They taunt the millipedes to get them to secrete poison, and they get high off that mix of chemicals.

The things i learn from CTN (directly and indirectly).

My friend Melanie works at the lemur center, and she posted on facebook that the escapees were the ones she looks after. However, they escaped on her day off, so she was not to blame.

If there's ever been a case for job security, your friend Melanie certainly has one now.
