Duke surplus sale
Did anyone get a chance to go check it out today??
I am planning on going to Durham tomorrow and hope they have a good selection of clothing left.

Yup, I did! Big crowd at 11:30 this morning, 30 minutes after it opened. I have no idea how much stuff they still have left. But I do suggest you get there early to get the best selection. And bring cash - the cash line is MUCH shorter than the credit/debit card line to check out.lawgrad91 wrote:Ozzie got some stuff. He posted on LTE about it, I believe.

You obviously need to get your priorities in order.

Well, they DID let me off work to go to Cameron after we won the National Championship. So I guess that does not make them all bad.
Yay! I will be meeting up with Very Duke Blue also in the morning!

Re: Duke surplus sale
Can't share all I bought as some of them are presents. I did buy myself a Duke Baseball jacket to wear when it gets cold. I also picked up a couple of Duke Basketball items, a warm up top and a velor jacket with Duke outlined in gold. I hope it's cold enough this football season/winter for me to wear my items. None had tags on them, thus I think they were worn by Dukies. Wish I knew which ones. Wonder if I can get a lab to find particles on the clothes to test.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:So what'd you get?!?TillyGalore wrote:I went after work last night around 5:00. Slim pickings this morning in men's L and XL sizes. I did pick up a Nike lightweight "athletic"-type polo. Says Duke across the breast. That's it. I saw some sweet basketball shoes in a 16, but alas they didn't have any in a 14 for me.

Re: Duke surplus sale
I saw several of the lined baseball jackets on the XXL table - they had uniform numbers (9 and 16, but no 9F ) written in black marker in the collars. They may or may not have been worn, at least not for long... I passed when I found the unlined windbreaker.TillyGalore wrote:Can't share all I bought as some of them are presents.
