Here are a couple more. I'm still learning to shoot with the macro lens; I think the composition is a bit better on these.

Finally watched "The Blind Side." What a fabulous movie. Shows that one person really can make a difference. Oh, and the Houston Nutt home recruiting visit was funny. I'm sure the comment about the Ole Miss cup was in reference to the fact that Houston was the Ole Miss coach by the time the movie was filmed.

Got into Vegas last night. It's hot. Not just hot, but really fucking hot. All the news shows open with "Record Heat, It's Fucking Hot". It was 101 last night at 9pm..after the sun was down for an hour.

Last time I was in Vegas, it was 100+ at midnight. Makes walking around the strip suck.

You guys have worn me out just READING all this! The lillies are wonderful, Arkie! The deer eat all ours as soon as they bud. So good to see some that have made it all the way!

We got to Kenansville a couple of hours ago. Max has ballgames Mon., Tues. and Wed. evening. It's too much to hope for the weather to be a little cooler. We'll will be ok. I do worry about the kids. Except for the all star tournament, this is the last of the games for the season. He does play fall baseball.

Too hot for me. Several years ago, I went to Tempe to see Jake in Sept. which a little cooler than the summer but still too hot for me. Take care of yourself.

It IS supposed to be cooler this week - in the 80's!
