Computer help for my dad...
Hey all-
As you all know, Mom died the other day. Dad found only one sample of her voice, a message on his cell phone. Does anyone know a way to transfer the message to an MP3 or something? He's got an LG chocolate phone with a USB port and a built in MP3 player. Could he call Verizon? Could they do it somehow?
Thanks so much.

There has to be a way to do it, but that's not why I'm posting. This is just to say that is one of the most sentimental thoughts I'd ever heard about. Very touching. More vibes to you and your dad.

I would imagine (without knowing anything about the phone or the services offered) that the VM could be forwarded via email either manually or I am certain the phone people would be able to do it.
And yeah, you are right. That is a pretty cool and touching thing! I'd do the same if my Honeybear were suddenly gone. ( ;) to my Tilly!)

Here ya go buddy. Not sure if this works but I found it through Googling around a bit. This company will convert the voicemail to an mp3 for $10.
