Happy Mothers' Day to all the moms out there in CTN land, and a special Happy Mother's Day to my mom, who's up in heaven today. I'm sure she's enjoying the card my son is making for her right now. We love you, Jou-Jou.

Interesting read here of the origins of Mothers Day....

in the 1600's honoring the mothers of England called, "Mothering Sunday." Employees were given the day off to visit their mothers, and many people gave their mothers a special treat called a "Mothering Cake." With Christianity came a different celebration called "Mother Church," which honored the spiritual protection from the church. This holiday eventually combined with "Mothering Sunday" to form one day of celebration.

Happy Mother's Day to my Mom in Chesapeake, VA, my mother-in-law in Tacoma, all the moms on CTN, and the mothers of my friends here. Bruce (Mr. Lawgrad) has informed me that Merlin and Sasha have sold collars door-to-door so that they could raise the money for him to take me to dinner tonight, so Happy Mother's Day to me! Merlin has requested that I order steak and bring him some leftover scraps....
