So you've moved into Melrose Place?
Har har. No. But I will be. And it's not quite MP. When I said "courtyard", well the one I'll look out onto is more like a jungle of vegetation with a path around it to walk from one end to the other. So no loiterers. No cars. Quiet.
A bird or two would be nice for Chloe to check out. ;)

I guess it's web + seminar = webinar. Live online seminar. Mine are software or procedure related... everyone's across the country and it's not worth it to get together for a 1 hour info session type gathering. So when there's a topic I'm interested in, I sign up for it. We all dial in on the phone for the audio, and follow the web presentation via a link.

It's not about the size... it's how it's utilized.
Seriously, though, my current apartment is smaller, but the layout just works really, really well. I saw bigger places that didn't have a great layout for my stuff. Go figure.
And... the closet space is
fantastic!

Very NICE SUE! YOU DID GOOD!!! My old condo was about the same size, Perfect! Laid out a bit differently but loved that place! It was a great investment property for me later on, until MY X convinced me to sell it!

Just had another earthquake. 4.1 followed by a 2.5 aftershock, though I think they were both aftershocks from Sunday.

Congrats, Sue! What a great place! I like the floor plan. It does look like good usage of floor space. Best of luck with the move!

Sue71 wrote:Regarding my second-guessing mode- here's an example of how I operate.
First of all, I know "it" when I see "it". (Whatever "it" happens to be- apartment, townhouse, car, jewelry
, etc.) Anyway, when I purchased my first car, the first test drive I took was an Acura Integra. Loved it but wasn't ready to commit. Proceeded to test drive just about every car that fit my requirements in my price range over the next 4 weeks (drove my parents NUTS
). What did I buy? Yep, went back to the Integra that I'd tested a month earlier.
Had pretty much the same experience when I bought my townhouse. Saw it, looked around a lot more, returned to it (though in a different part of town but exact same model).
So yes, I found the apartment, but now... hmmm... what if... know what I mean? I just need to pull the trigger and trust my gut.
There is a lot to be said for trusting your gut. I usually spend more time thinking about a big purchase than I do in the actually looking to buying phase. I like the floor plan.
Life is good!
