What are some that annoy you?
For me, one that comes to mind (I heard it today) was:
"Vicious Cycle" - Used all the time. Hell, I want to purchase a mountain bike and paint the word "VICIOUS" on the side of it. When asked about my bike, I can say: "Yeah, I ride it all the time now; but then I'll go weeks without riding it at all; then I start riding it like crazy again. Really, it's a vicious cycle."

"No problem". Some people think thats the only response to use for for anything said to them. Example, If I think I may have been in someones way, in a store, etc. The usual response is "no problem".

Forte vs. forte
A strength of mine is a forte (pronounced FORT); the latter term (pronounced FOR-tay) refers to a musical term for loudness.
