A New Term...

Mysterectomy - N. - A planned conversation that results in the successful extraction of the truth. This is usually performed after one person, for an extended period of time, notices an attitude change in another person close to them. The successful Mysterectomy extracts the truth, thus FINALLY revealing the real nature of they change of behavior.

Example: "Man, my wife stopped talking to me for weeks, yet she was buying brand new lingerie. I didn't understand it! Finally, I decided to perform a no-holes-barred mysterectomy on her, and in doing so, I found my way to the truth. She was FonkFunking STEVE! At least now, armed with the truth, I can move on. Thank you Mysterectomy!"
