That could be argued several ways. One is the way you have suggested. Another would have been to have Avery bring the ball upcourt and hope Trajan could have freed himself via a screen. That might not have happened. Think JJ and all the times he got mugged without the ball. The other would be to castrate the refs who called walking on Langdon instead of tripping on the ucons.

However, I think Lavabe may have been referring to the 2004 semi-final game and not the 1999 final game. Now those refs sucked. They REALLY, REALLY sucked.

Thanks TONS to DukePA..that was one of my most memorable games ever. It was the first and only time I've ever sat with the Crazies, it was against Miami, and it was an awesome game. Duke was down double digits at the half, and we had a great comeback. Beer for breakfast was enjoyable while waiting to get in with the grad students on some borrowed ID.
