I was in the courthouse hallway today and one of the local attorneys walked past me with his client, and he said, "Congratulations. Haven't seen you in a couple of weeks, but I know you must be thrilled."
And my coworker's daughter posted a picture of her infant son in his "My First National Championship T-shirt" on Facebook, and tagged me. What a beautiful thing, to see a five month old whose heart is already in the right place.

I finally found some free time last week and went up to the neighborhood and all the bartenders and chefs gave me the nod. Nice guys, though they're all Carolina fans.

My 5 year old knows what's up too. First day of soccer practice a couple weeks ago (pre championship game) he asked all his teammates and coaches if they liked Duke or carolina. Each person who answered carolina was met with 'ewww we hate carolina. They are really bad and they cheat.' In my defense, I've only instilled the hatred in him. He picked up on the cheating all by himself.

When ever, where ever I see people dressed in the proper shade o'blue or clothing marked 'DUKE', I compliment them on their taste with a "Nice shirt" or"Nice cap".I'm seeing many more people dressed in this fashion lately, every where.

It's safer to wear the colors now than it was before April 5, 2010.

I saw Duke shirts at my walmart for the first time EVER today. They had one design, all medium, right in front of a whole aisle of unc shirts. Walmart sucks.

The reason all the DUKE shirts they have left are size medium is because the larger and smaller shirts were all bought out, and the reason they have an aisle of unc shirts is because nobody will buy them, or even steal them.
I also compliment those wearing Duke gear on their good taste.

I want a banner, suitable for the flagpole on the front porch.

My Greensboro-resident and Duke-fan Mother called me today to tell me about a great article from today's Greensboro News & Record. The article is by their Staff Columnist Ed Hardin and is located here
http://www.news-record.com/content/2010 ... _to_repeat. My Mother was so moved by the positive Duke writing that she called the writer to thank him!
