Shockingly, Carolina's still in the NIT...

Post by bjornolf » March 23rd, 2010, 6:41 am

Would it be funnier to watch them lose in the NIT, or to watch them struggle with where to hang the NIT championship banner? Would they put up a Final Four banner if they lost then? Maybe with FINAL FOUR in huge letter's, and NIT tiny? Where do they hang it? Right behind Hanstravel's jersey?

We talked about this in Section 21 of their first round "win" over W&M (facilitated by the officiating). CathyCA and I said, almost simultaneously, that they'd claim back-to-back national championships.

Most certainly. Not sure they win tonight though :D

Roy says Zeller is 50-50 on playing tonight. I say it's 50-50 on whether Roy's an asshat or a jackass.

Carolina will lose tonight.

I am sending out Duke vibes, preparing the sacrificial chicken, lighting the incense, sharpening the knives of the elders, and prepping the alter for the "rememberance of the lambs."

Oh yes, Carolina will lose tonight.

Every kerlina loss is a happy day for me. Bill and Mary shoulda beat them but only shot 4 FT. msu shoulda won but played matador d on unc's last possession. Go UAB!

There would be some poetic justice if they win the NIT and Duke goes on to win the NCAAs.
