A couple people on ESPN's bracket challenge still have relatively intact brackets. Insane.devildeac wrote:How about those 5 "experts" and the Midwest region...YmoBeThere wrote:

Dude, not their fault. Kentucky is "SICK" good. They are going to win it all this year.devildeac wrote:The d***s are down 15 or 16 at the half to the wildcraps.

Even if they do, they'll have to vacate the title within 5 years time if Calipari's record holds true to form.EarlJam wrote:Dude, not their fault. Kentucky is "SICK" good. They are going to win it all this year.devildeac wrote:The d***s are down 15 or 16 at the half to the wildcraps.

Re: Tourney Games Not Involving Duke
Kentucky pretty much has a lock on having the most talent left in the tourney. However, ALL of it is YOUNG talent. When they're on, they'll beat anybody. However, they have shown that even they can be vulnerable to having just an inexplicably bad and stupid game. We'll see.ArkieDukie wrote:Even if they do, they'll have to vacate the title within 5 years time if Calipari's record holds true to form.EarlJam wrote:Dude, not their fault. Kentucky is "SICK" good. As for someone's comment that our road just got easier, I disagree. I was far more worried about Baylor than Villanova. I have a feeling we would have crushed Nova if we'd met them this year. We're a lot better than last year, and they're not nearly as good as last year. Baylor's a much better team. We'll see. We still have to get past Cal and the Sweet 16 to worry. ;)

Re: Tourney Games Not Involving Duke
I was kind of hoping for McFarland to light Cousins' short fuse so Cousins might take himself out of the game... I figured if anybody could "push" Cousins to the brink it would be McFarland.EarlJam wrote:Dude, not their fault. Kentucky is "SICK" good. If we beat California, WHERE would we play Baylor?bjornolf wrote:As for someone's comment that our road just got easier, I disagree. I was far more worried about Baylor than Villanova. Re: Tourney Games Not Involving Duke
I'm in this camp too. I would much rather play a bad Villanova team than the team that BEAT Villanova. Same goes with anyone else we play. From this point on, any team we play is there because they beat someone else. Would Maryland rather play Kansas or Northern Iowa? I'd go with Kansas, because they would have beaten two lower seeded teams, as opposed to Northern Iowa, a team that did the reverse. Out of the two, only one would have proven they belonged there.bjornolf wrote: As for someone's comment that our road just got easier, I disagree.

Baylor is a relatively small player on the sports scene, so I don't think it will be a huge advantage.Lavabe wrote:If we beat California, WHERE would we play Baylor?bjornolf wrote:As for someone's comment that our road just got easier, I disagree. True. And by the way, I REALLY hope I'm wrong. Can Duke do it? Yes. Do I hope and pray they do? YES! Just have a gut feeling about the bastards from Lexington.ArkieDukie wrote:Even if they do, they'll have to vacate the title within 5 years time if Calipari's record holds true to form.EarlJam wrote:Dude, not their fault.
