Misery loves company

Post by shereec » March 19th, 2010, 6:43 am

Ever since I read the news this morning that Fess Parker died, I can't get this song out of my head...

Daniel Boone was a man, yes a biiiiiiiiiiig man. And he fought for America to make all Americans free. What a Boone, what a doer, what a dream-come-a-truer was he!

True - it was a standard in my childhood; RIP Fess Parker.
But I can't get the song (and just that one verse!) out of my head!

He owned a fabulous hotel and spa in Santa Barbara. He also owned a winery that produced some amazing wine.

But I can't get that song out of my head this morning. . .
