I'll probably be in and out. Stepson bought a movie he wants to watch..so I'll be seeing some games on the computer...less chatting for those..I need a wider screen...or a second monitor and a wider desk.Very Duke Blue wrote:Anyone going on chat tonight?

Re: LTE 2.0
Wow! Guess I should have paid more attention rather than watching all those bball games!!! I wish I could have watched it the results last night, but definitely appreciate the update. I didn't get home until about 1115 and power was outLavabe wrote:Bottom Three: Tim, Paige, Laceycl15876 wrote:Conclusion (out of the 10 above):cl15876 wrote:"quote="cl15876""
So to conclude for tonight, I think I must have missed some flipping between the games.... but I came back to hear the following 10 singers do their thing:
Casey, Lacy, Andrew, Katie, Tim, Siobhan, Lee, Paige, Aaron, & Crystal. (think I might have missed the first 2 before Casey, there are 12 left, right?)"/quote"
My Summary take of who I heard:
- Casey not bad;
- Lacy, not bad;
- Andrew ROCKED!;
- Katie - was okay, had a lil Carrie Underwood sound!
- Tim had a reggae thing going on, I liked it;
- Siobhan almost sounded like she was yelling;
- Lee, not bad!;
- Paige, she was okay;
- Aaron, He sounded like a girl until I watched him sing it;
- Crystal - not bad.
- Possibly Katie or Aaron, but I think Siobhan will go.
Verdict: Bye-bye, Lacey!
Tim's reggae/Las Vegas lounge lizard version of UNDER MY THUMB deserves a special place in Idol history.

Re: LTE 2.0
Not biting on that one! Those delivery people are just miserable! Say they will be there between 9-12, but don't show up until 4-5 because your stuff was loaded first and they had to drop everyone else's stuff off so they could get to you! I think we need a Service Delivery Law that refunds us for the day wasted sitting around waiting.... and waiting! ;)DukeUsul wrote:Freezer was delivered at 12:30. Anyone want to bet that I immediately packed up and went into the office?

Re: LTE 2.0
I had something very strange happen this evening. I went to put supper in my microwave and noticed that the electricity to it was out. Lights in the kitchen were still working. I went back to check my circuit breaker and discovered that my washer had stopped in mid-cycle. I flipped every breaker in my breaker box, no luck. At this point I went around and did a survey: lights in both bathrooms and one bedroom out, all electrical outlets in kitchen out, living room and back bedroom okay. Went to the main switch in the basement and heard a strange noise (bzzzt - bzzt). Flipped main switch off and on, no luck. Came back upstairs to continue my inventory. Was waiting to see if the furnace came on; I didn't know if it was affected. I was relieved a few minutes later that the furnace did decide to come back and further relieved to discover that everything else came back on, too. I went back down to the basement, no more strange noise. So, those of you who know something about this type of thing, how strange is this and how worried should I be?

We went to the Pizza Corner for dinner. The pizza there is very good. Plenty left over for Adam's lunch.
