Robert Morris is beating Villanova in the 1st half.

Re: Tourney Games Not Involving Duke
In watching some of this game, and seeing Taylor King play, I can't help but recognize one big thing: His game has not evolved one dang bit. Stand on the perimeter, catch and shoot. After a few years, that's still all he's got? Granted, he's a good shooter, but dang. He's not a small guy. Seems he'd get down on the blocks a little.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Robert Morris is beating Villanova in the 1st half.

P.S. I have Villanova in the Final Four, but NOTHING would make me happier than to see them go down today!

Notre Dame instantly screws up my bracket.

Same here. And dad gummit, though I picked Villanova, I'd love for them to lose. Robert Morris kicked their buts for 39 minutes but couldn't pull it out. Don't think they will hang with V in OT.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Notre Dame instantly screws up my bracket.

Re: Tourney Games Not Involving Duke
It's not often that I say the losing team "deserved it," but this is one of those rare cases. Fugk Villanova. They were outplayed, outclassed, and were extrememly fortunate to get the win. I feel really bad for Robert Morris. (Is it, "I feel bad for Robert Morris" or "I feel badly for Robert Morris?")CameronBornAndBred wrote:I agree..had to get it done in reg. In either case, you know what I mean.
Also, Bill Rafferty: "He has stroked it admirably today."

Feel bad for Robert Morris is what you meant.
If your sense of touch was in trouble, you'd feel badly.

I, of course, picked Murray State. ;)
I have them going one game further too.
And yes, all my correct picks are strategic choices based on intense research and I shall brag accordingly. All of my wrong picks are simply guesses or games the refs blew, and you will not hear me mention those at all!!

Dadgum it, Notre Dame. Dadgum it, Vanderbilt.
Why did you two teams lose? I will never pick you to win anything again!

And his other move. Sulk and mope on the bench when he gets pulled for screwing up.EarlJam wrote:In watching some of this game, and seeing Taylor King play, I can't help but recognize one big thing: His game has not evolved one dang bit. I'm so mad at the Stupid Spiders that I reversed my info above and was rubbing it in for myself. I had the Spiders moving on. I hope St. Mary's messes with me on the next game, too. I wouldn't mind seeing Villanova going out on Saturday.CameronBornAndBred wrote:DukieInKansas wrote:

Dadgummit, both of these teams totally messed up my bracket. Fortunately my championship team is still alive. They play tomorrow night.CathyCA wrote:Dadgum it, Notre Dame. Dadgum it, Vanderbilt.

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/basketball ... aab,228833Twenty-five years ago, Villanova pulled the biggest upset in college basketball history when Rollie Massimino's team stunned mighty Georgetown in the NCAA championship. Today, the Wildcats narrowly avoided being on the other side of a tournament stunner. They can thank the referees for helping them do so.
