My niece is going to be on a new program by ESPN but airing on ABC on Saturdays - beginning 4/3/10.

From Sports Media Watch: "The second hour will feature Winners Bracket, hosted by Marcellus Wiley and Michelle Beadle. The show will review the past week in sports, with the week's biggest news stories placed in a bracket "to determine who's No. 1.""

I am AMAZED that the NIT invited the holes. Guess that proves that begging for an invitation works. Go William & Mary!

Maybe Seth and Jerry can do another "Really??!!??" on SNL next week, based on the Holes getting a bit to the NIT.

Good Morning, all!

If anything, W&M and UNC's seeds should be flipped. Carolina probably told the NIT they wouldn't play if they didn't get a home game, and the NIT wanted the notoriety and the money from the ticket sales of having Carolina there. (This way, they can sell even more tickets to Tribe fans!

) So, they originally had UNC as the 13 and W&M as the 4, so they just flipped the seeds. ;)

A lot of teams that are used to going to the NCAAT or expected to in a particular year are upset and disappointed and end up blowing it in the NIT despite being a superior team. I could see that happening to VT, though if Seth gets them to play with an angry chip on their shoulder, I could see them winning the whole shebang. They have the talent. Carolina will just be happy to BE in the little dance this year. ;)

Had to go to the UCP to adjust the Daylight Savings Time setting. Didn't notice until today. Of course, I didn't post much yesterday.
