Lily did a quirky PCline. Although she sang weirdly (as she always does), I don't think her pitchiness is going to ruin her tonight.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when women sing HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN, aren't the pronouns usually changed around to reflect the fact that a woman is singing it? Siobahn sang it with male pronouns and references. "It's been the ruin of many a poor boy, and G_d, I know I'm one."

Just a curious moment from tonight.

I just had to bite the bullet and finally hook up the digital converter on my TV, and I'm still waiting for it to wake up or whatever, so I'm watching Wallace & Gromit on Hulu in the meantime.

I had a question for the tech guys on the board. I have an HD ready TV. It's older. I can't convince my wife to spring for the HD service for our Directv. Can I just buy an HD antenna and hook it up to my TV to get my local channels in HD for free? Or since it's HD ready, do I need some kind of analyzer to go with it? Do they even still broadcast the regular channels in HD over the air?

Judging from how they treated us in Atlanta, I really disliked their customer service. Thankfully, we are no longer with them.
