Neither.

I had a 1988 4x4 Nissan King Cab with the big tires! Loved that truck, it could go through anything and was all metal, unlike the plastic trucks they make today that cost thousands of dollars!

The car I have owned the longest was a Nissan Maxima. A 1996 Maxima that I drove to about 180K miles. I sold it to a friend, he's had it for a couple years now is over 210K. I'm on my second car since I sold that one. Wait, I was supposed to leave to get my car washed. A couple of minutes ago. Once a PW, always a PW?

Re: Mazda vs Nissan
I've had two Nissans and loved them both: a 1979 280ZX and the 2000 Maxima that I have written about on these boards over the years. Traded the Z for a 1986 Acura Legend when I needed the sedan for business and the Maxima, with 180,000 miles on it when it had (one time) a transmission problem that disappeared and I traded it for the Hyundai Sonata before it reappeared and needed a $3000 repair.
Never had a Mazda, but I did crave the original RX7 when it came out in 1977. A good friend had one - fun car! I got the ZX three years later
I wouldn't hesitate to get a Mazda. They are good cars.

I had a serious man-crush on the Miata for a long time.... A friend had an RX-7 convertible a long time ago that was a serious rocket...

When I was buying a car last year I looked at the Mazda 3. The Hyundai was more economical, so I went with that instead of the Mazda 3. Plus, I think I would have gotten speeding tix with Mazda 3. Zoom zoom, baby.

My Mazda3 hates first gear, it wants to be in and out of it as soon as possible. Zoom zoom indeed.TillyGalore wrote:When I was buying a car last year I looked at the Mazda 3.
