unc-NC State

Post by wilson » February 12th, 2010, 11:21 pm

Not only is this a battle to stay out of the conference cellar, but it's also a tilt for Sidney Lowe's job, right? Could be quite a contest.

I had given no hope to the wolfpups as they are horrendous on the road. Until Easy Ed went down. Now, I think they have a glimmer of hope of winning at the nose dome. Not much, but at least it's a glimmer.

The holes need 3 more wins to hit 2000 all-time victories.

Will they do it this season?

This is honestly a good question. They had better win today if they want to reach the milestone this season.
Methinks they probably will, because I think they have a solid chance to win today and then scrape out a couple more in the reg season or on Thursday ( :)) =)) :)) ) at the ACC Tournament.

The level of suckitude in that game was simply amazing. State was simply the worst of the two teams.

Ozzie and I talked about this yesterday during the ride back to our house. I figgered El Sid would be gone at the end of the season. Oz wasn't so sure as he had been given the vote of confidence/kiss of death by his AD this week. :)) =))

I think they'll give him one more season considering the recruiting class coming in. If CJ Leslie recommits he'll certainly get another year.

I had to see how many IC threads were devoted to them 'being back'. This one took the cake: http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=78&f=1410&t=5615278
