I watched the whole thing live and Tivoed it. I used to attend the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City back in the day.

The new Miss America will do an adequate job, but they missed out on a gorgeous girl this year: Miss Puerto Rico. If ever they had an opportunity to crown a glamorous girl, this was the year. Instead, they crowned a fairly average looking contestant.

Exhibit A: The new Miss America is on the left, but the most glamorous girl in the pageant, Miss Puerto Rico, is on the right. She didn't even make the Top 15.

I'm not sure which is more irrelevant: Miss America or the Pro Bowl.

I watched it. When I still lived in Little Rock my cousin and I used to watch together and heckle. We watched together via telephone last night. Tried to Skype and had connection troubles. Still not sure if the problem was at my end or hers.

Miss America is on which left? As they stand on the stage relative to each other or as we look at them? As I look at it, the more glamorous girl, the more "Puerto Rican looking" girl, is on the left as we look at them. The one on the right looks a little like Kira Sedgewick.

I didn't try to make this complicated, Ozzie. As you are looking at the picture, the girl on the left in the gold beaded gown, that is the former Miss Virginia, the new Miss America. The girl on the right as you look at the picture--with the feathers on her gown--is Miss Puerto Rico.

Miss America looks more Puerto Rican than feather lady. She also looks better.

I agree with CB&B. B-) The right girl, between those two, won. Personally, based on looks alone from the girls we can see clearly in the picture, I would have voted for the blond on the far right.
