I'd be willing to bet they give a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award to Michael Jackson.
But yeah... this is a kooky year.

I am clueless about all the choices. Hmmm, should I begin listening to modern music? I think I like the Black Eye Peas, but couldn't tell you one single song they've recorded.

I confess that I'm intrigued by the Michael Jackson tribute, because a) his music really was that good, and b) I'm a sucker for 3-D.
However, I will watch zero seconds of this year's Grammy telecast.

I might start paying attention again if anybody ever actually sings an interesting lyric I can make out. The only words I've been able to understand all year were "pants on the ground"!

Depending on what I'm doing, I might watch. If for no other reason to see Lady GaGa. Hate her or like her, she's an artist, and one of the only pop folks out there nowadays who can actually sing. (Don't remember where she went to school, but it's pretty much equivalant to me going to the Corcoran, she was trained to sing)
Her outfits are insane, and her songs are fun. I don't know how much shit people gave Peter Gabriel when he was younger, but he's a good comparison on the male side.

Ahh, Peter Gabriel. One of my favorites in my HS and Duke years.

It's a long one so pour yourself a tall, cold one, with or without alcohol, and enjoy one of Genesis' performances (note the young looking drummer-with hair):

There aren't many of my paintings done with out listening to Peter Gabriel in my headphones.

IIRC, this was also the year that Lady Gaga brought to pop music the phrase "Disco Stick."

I wasn't watching, but I like Pink. She's very talented.

I'm sorry, but those simply could not be Michael Jackson's biological children (I do, however, want to be clear that I do not believe that this precludes him from having been their father in the realest senses). They are Caucasian.

I thought the same thing when I saw them, wilson.

3D glasses... let's just drop it, okay? X( X( X(

I paid xx dollars to get High Def/BluRay. If I want to watch things with red and green pixel splotches, I'll let you know. In the meantime, assume none of us has the 3D glasses, okay?
