Speaking of flutes, our flute section last night was phenomenal! ;) Who were those gorgeous women? OH! They were DukePA and Jillybeans!

I never, ever, ever thought I would have a use for this image. I've thought about deleting it since the first time I loaded the smilies (months ago). But on Ghost Hunters International tonight, they are looking for the ghost of :hitler: . I like the show, but I'm not thrilled at all about this one. They are turning :hitler: into entertainment, and that rubs me wrong. When he is parodied (i.e. Mel Brooks), or used to teach a moral lesson (i.e. Twilight Zone) that's one thing. But to just turn him into entertainment only because it equals ratings ain't right.
Apologies for the twinges of public policy...

Just tripped over The Commitments. What a great movie, and no commercials to boot. "I'm black and I'm proud!!"

I'm just about done with my 12 oz. bottle of beer syrup (see Ymm! Beer for explanation, it's DD's fault). Tomorrow looks to be rough.

The singer in that movie was 16 when he filmed it. I don't know what he's doing now, it was filmed in '91. I always thought I'd hear about him again...great movie.

Good afternoon/evening, all! We got around 4 inches of snow here. The wind is picking up, and it is COLD! Currently 16 degrees with wind chills of -2. The high tomorrow is supposed to be 13 F. Brrrrrrr!
