Hot Natured meets Cold Natured

Being hot-natured, I, EarlJam, prefer environments of cooler, if not cold temperatures. I enjoy a chill in the air, trips to colder places (mountains vs. the beach), a cool room where one can grab a blanket to warm up if needed.

I am staying mostly with my Mom over the Holidays. EarlJam's mother is very, very, cold-natured, and likes to crank up the indoor heat to 80 degrees or above (not kidding). On top of that, she puts a space heater in front of her to "warm her cold-natured legs."

As I, EarlJam, type this, I am afraid I may burst into flames at any moment. In addition to the intense heat, the air is very, very, dry. Had a slight nose bleed yesterday.

Anyway, just had to share. I'm going outside to roll around in the little snow that's left.

Anyone else having temporary living quarter adjustment issues?

Jake will be in town over the holiday and plans to hang out in Hillsborough at the Wooden Nickel Saturday night. You and Cowboy Devil should make an appearance. The Nickel has a decent beer selection.

I'm like EarlJam. Like I always say, you can always put more clothes on, but you can only get so naked. And with North Carolina summers, I wish I could get nakeder than naked.

I have the temp set at 65, I'm in summer type pj's, and have a fan blowing in the bedroom. As I've gotten older, I've become hotter.

, VA has snow, and I didn't have to deal with it here in the swamps of eastern NC, so don't tell me any fairy tales about how much warmer VA is than NC.
