Condolences to Andre Dawkins and family
Unfortunately, it appears that the story of Andre's sister dying in a car crash yesterday appear to be true. Heart felt thoughts and condolences to Andre and his family.

ARGHHH! This is tragic.
My heart goes out to Andre, who has so quickly become my favorite player on the team. No college kid should have to endure the grief of losing a sibling.
I recall when Jay Bryan lost his sister in an automobile accident in Colorado 26 years ago. Coach K accompanied Jay to Colorado for Laura's memorial service. I know that Coach K will provide similar support for Andre in his time of need.

These are precisely the sort of times I'm most grateful we have the kind of coaching staff and players we do. They will come through for Andre. The rest of us wish we could do more. Let's hope he can feel the big circle of love that surrounds his family and him in the Duke community.
