Edwards blocked JJ in 24th.

CRASH... ROCKET MAN!! NEWMAN!!

Landed on the roof. Hope he's okay... UGLY accident. He caught wind, landed upside down on Harvick's hood, and flew some more.

Racing stopped with 3 to go. Newman's okay (at least that's what he said on the radio). The roof caved in a bit, so they're cutting the roof open to gain access to Newman.

Wow. This was hideous. Couldn't tell how the accident started, but it Ambrose and Harvik had some damage. They'll continue racing. Newman is LUCKY he's alive.

They're showing it again. Newman bumped with Smoke in front, while Ambrose bumped Newman in the rear.

Newman walked away. It could have been much worse.

Kudos to Sadler for braking enough NOT to hit Newman.

Just before the wreck, fuel issues figured big time. Kurt Busch had blown something. He should be okay now.

I picked Newman. I am just glad he's alive. WOW.

Oh well... Gordon (another of my picks) ran out of fuel.
Stremme out of fuel, JPM out of fuel. Dale running low.

Still not racing yet.

I think Ymo may have taken the lead in fantasy league. I started the day 200+ points in the lead. 3 of my 4 picks did not finish.

I am, however, really happy for Jamie Mac!

JJ finished 6th. UGH!

I might make up a little bit, but certainly not enough to take the lead.

Gordon in the postrace interview said he was really glad with the race strategy of being able to refuel at the end so that he could go back out there to wreck the car.

MM was much more direct in his response. I got in a wreck. That's all I know.

The big subject will be the NASCAR edict to have no bump drafting in the turns. Gordon was as pissed as I've ever seen.

Newman interviewed after he was cleared from the medical facilities was VERY critical of NASCAR. Trouble is, he was right.

Along with the Kyle Petty brouhaha of last week, NASCAR has been getting the business from quite a few folks lately.

Looks like all of us got hit hard in that final lap. I think Ymo gained about 10 points on my lead. Ymo did well picking Kahne; I did alright with Kes.

I can no longer pick Newman; Ymo is done with Kahne.

I thought it was official, she had.

Jr may be a better car owner than driver. Course, I think Kelley is the one running the show at JR Motorsports. Jr races to support JR Motorsports. Sort of like actors making a lot of money on a big budget movie, to pay for the Indies they direct, a la Ed Burns.
I worship the Blue Devil!

As of 6 hours ago on ESPN, it was not yet official... it was "near a deal."

I want a near deal to run Goldman Sachs for a year. I'd take my megamillions afterwards and help more animals.

Looks like we'll have some different selections this week. While my A list choice this week is either JJ or Gordon, it looks like Ymo gets to choose between MM and Blech. Although we overlap our B list with Reutimann, Mears, and Vickers, Ymo may have JFLogano up against my selection of JPMontoya.
