So, my mom, Jou-Jou to her three grandkids, is sick in the hospital on her favorite holiday, Halloween. She's heartbroken that she won't get to see the kids in their costumes (I'm sure we can rectify that later) and the kids are upset that they won't get to see their grandparents for trick or treating for the first time since they were born.

She's had this HIDEOUS cough for a couple of weeks now, but she's seemed okay with it. However, her pulmoary specialist heard her cough over the phone yesterday and INSISTED that she go to the ER. When she got there and they heard her cough and read about her history of severe asthma and bouts with bronchitis and pneumonia, they admitted her. So anyway, this is a Halloween vibes request for Jou-Jou that they'll figure out what's wrong with her and get it fixed. Thanks.

I guess it's too bad that the doctor heard her today, instead of, say Monday. Or last week. Ah well.

She'd love that emoticon. I've always thought it looked more like a witch than a wizard, and she's ALWAYS claiming she's a witch. I've seen her "curses" work one to many times to contradict her, at least not within her hearing. ;)

I don't remember my phonics writing very well. It's a French expression for "toy toy" I think, and it's what my great uncle called her when she was a baby. Her real name is Julie. It's kind of a cross between jew jew and shoe shoe. I'm not sure, but I think it's phonetically something like "zhoo zhoo", but I'm not 100% sure about that. The j is pronounced the same way as the j in that song I learned in school as a kid "Frere Jacque".

Late to the party here, but want to be sure and get my vibes in from "Ghee" here to "Jou Jou". I know how she must be feeling right now, emotionally. Having to miss seeing those little guys is really tough. Good idea that you will make it up to her ASAP. One good hug from each of them will do the trick.
