I'm about to go take a run and I don't run unless the puppies are contained. I have a friend who is trying to talk me into running this race -

My response? No way. Note: Said friend does not intend to take part but thinks it would be funny if I did. Again. No way.

One of my former students stopped by yesterday morning for a chat. She is now doing a rotation on OB/GYN, as she was leaving I told her to have fun with the girls. What I meant was her patients as they're all going to be women. Though I know a friend who had a transgender patient come in for a gyn exam and insisted on having a pap smear.
Wilson, still miss this thread?
BD, you'll be proud of me. I took a walk around East Campus after work today, and had to put the remote to my car in my jog bra.

If a woman has a vagina, she should be having a yearly Pap, whether she began her life as a male or as a female.

The pap test is for the cervix, not the vagina.

You beat me to it Tilly. I recently had a go round with my MD over whether or not I need one (plumbing was yanked years ago!) he won. The trump line was 'did he have a microscope and did he get EVERY cell?'

I'm sure some of my fellows here at CTN will be there with a camera, especially if YOU run, BD! ;)

I'm pretty sure that was an inclusive given, ;) However, I never called either the following nickname, but sounds good to me:

What's wrong with the plumbing? I like all the parts.

Ask wilson.
A comedian I once heard summed up my thoughts about men and women very well.
"The female form is a thing of beauty, displayed again and again in art throughout history.
It's loved and valued and displayed as often as possible. I think it should be displayed more.
There's a reason that Playboy sells exponentially more magazines than Playgirl.
The male body is hairy and lumpy and shouldn't be seen by the light of day."
I agree 100%!

I like all the parts too. My initial reaction was mostly a joke.
I could, however, live pretty much every day of my life without any discussion of pap smears.
