My current theory is that we will see a Freeway series. The major media outlets would probably perfer an LA versus Philly/NYY matchup. NYY/Philly and I think you lose a lot of viewers. (well, a freeway series might also have the same effect.)

What a mess, I had multiple windows of CTN open...with various posts and threads in each. Can anyone say Adult ADD?

I'm home waiting for the cable guy. Well, really the phone/TV/internet guy from the old local phone company. Yeah, I'm going fiberoptic. The coax guys are getting the boot. The local phone co did a much better job of selling. Now if they could only get with the program that the coax guys in the Northeast had. Every service at the higher level (except international channels, sports pkgs, etc.) for one price.

I hypothesize that the installation and delivery guys will all show up at around the same time and at the end of the time "window" they have given me.

I know, I know, but scientific theories (with the scientific method) are much more than conjecture (which is an acceptable common vernacular definition). The #1 definition is proper for a scientific theory... which is what I was using in my response. ;)

I saw the Toy Story double feature in 3-D last night. They seemed like they'd been made for 3-D all along, with all of the texture that Up had and no "gimmick" shots. The films also carry an existential weight that was entirely lost on me the first time around. I had a great time.

Bull Durham could probably be labeled as a romantic comedy. I think Jerry Maguire probably falls short on the comedy end. It's a little too serious.

Serious? "Jerry Eff'ing Maguire" is serious? :-q

Nope -- the kid, Cuba Gooding Jr, Bonnie Hunt, Jay Mohr -- it is definitely more comedic than "serious."

I guess we have a difference of opinion.
