30 home runs and 100 RBI, from a guy with a temporarily surgically repaired hip that caused him to miss the first 6 weeks of the season. He's had an amazing year and is primed to have a great October (and probably November too)! At the risk of pissing off Lavebe, I don't want too hear word one about steroids.

Interesting ad on ESPN where a tour guide shows a group around Duke. Of course, all he talks about are the basketball players. I won't spoil the rest...

Couldn't get the video to run, so I went to the NBC site. But I may have missed the point.

Had a fun afternoon. I went to the Shaw Art Fair and then to the Best of Missouri Market at the MoBot. Bostondevil, I thought about you in the Best of Missouri market. There was a vendor selling some amazing hand-painted yarns. The colors were beautiful.

A-Rod is a steroid taking wanker. That is six words about him taking steroids, so I believe I meet your requirement for not hearing word one about steroids.

Seriously though, I don't care about A-Rod. I'm just giving you a hard time Ozzie.

Sure hope Sis is okay.

On "The Next Iron Chef" last night, an LA chef made matzah ball soup. The other chefs complained that they weren't fluffy. :-o :-o UGH!!!!

He eventually got knocked off the show for not being able to make a good dish with grasshoppers. 8-x b-(

I can't make up this stuff.

I just learned last week that the Angus Barn's chef won "The Iron Chef". He had to cook ostrich.
