I forgot totally about this side of CTN, hence my post about the awesome game play last night by Duke in the brunchgate thread! I have to say they exploded in the 1st half 21-0 and kept things moving towards that 49-14 victory! WOW!!!!! LGD, LGD, LGD!!!! Hopefully, the same momentum will continue next week against VA Tech!!!

There is a very good reason Homecoming was traditionally scheduled in the latter part of October. The hurricane season in the Atlantic peaks in September making rains, especially heavy rains, very seasonal. I understand the importance of yesterday's game to the two universities and to Durham, but perhaps next year it will be possible to plan Homecoming nearer the end of the Hurricane season! (Could have used a smilie with an umbrella here. )
