Anyone watch the new show "Community?" Not sure I'll end up watching it much. The protagonist (played by the guy from The Soup) is just a jerk. Not sure why I'd want to watch a show about him.

Re: Community
A friend of mine works on lighting for the show, he's hoping it does well so he gets to stay with one job. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm glad to see Chevy Chase back on the screen.DukeUsul wrote:Anyone watch the new show "Community?" Not sure I'll end up watching it much. Re: Community
So I watched Community again tonight. I don't think I'm coming back. It's just not funny. Too many cliched characters and the protagonist is a jerk.
The only good thing is that it guest stars Duke's own Dr. Ken Jeong as the Spanish teacher.

Saw bits of it last night. Chevy Chase hasn't lost a step, and his character is likable. The main character is a douche and is dripping with cliches. All in all, it just doesn't add up. Won't be coming back.

Pity that the Talk Soup guy is such an ass. I enjoyed most of Chevy's scenes. I miss that guy.DukeUsul wrote:QFTMiles wrote:Saw bits of it last night. Re: Community
He's the only actor on that show who wasn't cliched and over the top (except for "Brita"). Which is kind of funny, considering he usually is the one that's always over the top.Miles wrote:Pity that the Talk Soup guy is such an ass. I enjoyed most of Chevy's scenes.
