I like to eat ice cream out of ramekins. It helps keep the portion size reasonable.
But does it help when you end up eating 34 portions ;)
Sounds like my wife. "But I'm just putting the ice cream in a little bowl, dear." Yes, but how many of those little bowls have you had now?

My mother in law is like that. If we have doughnuts, she'll just cut off about an 1/8th of the doughnut at a time. And then she'll do it eight times throughout the day. So why not just eat the fricking doughnut in the first place.

Because then she would eat 8 donuts through the day, that's why!

LOL!
Mrs. Turk's entire family is like that, only they do it with dinner entrees like lasagna as well as desserts. Just carve yourself a regular piece for goodness sakes. One summer day it was hamburgers and hotdogs for supper, and her dad sliced off 1/3 of a burger. No, that's not a typo - let me spell that out - one-third of a hamburger!! Coming from the "faster you eat, the more you get" school of family dining etiquette, my head nearly exploded.

Anyways, it's nice to see the smilies fixed!!!
Except the super-nerd seems to have disappeared.
Is this the one you're talking about
?
No, there was one that had a guy with glasses and a goatee.
It wasn't used very often.
I think I know which one you're talking about. I have a vague recollection of it.

Did you see my comment about that?

M&Ms now come in peanut butter and jelly flavor. The Mate just gave me a bag.
Son of Mojo came in the house last weekend, with a bag of creme brulee flavored candy corn. Damn, they're very tasty.

I'm going to the ECU - unc game tomorrow for sure.
My friends suggested I wear pure Duke clothes with horns. They said after unc scores and the cheering finally settles down, I should just start screaming "GO DUKE!!!!" like a maniac
And then convince some ECU fans to point and Ooooooohhhhh at a select unc fan. (Is there a name for that?)

One of them is a Duke fan. The other is a Syracuse fan (I guess?). He doesn't really get into the college rivalry stuff, normally.
The Duke fan one is also applying to Duke ED, he's one of my few Blue Devil friends. I don't know if I could stand being in the same dorm as him if we both got in. (He's President, I'm VP of our class.)
He's been my friend forever, but I couldn't handle living with him.

Probably best to spend your college years opening yourself up to new experiences and finding new people to dislike ;)

There was one user and five guests earlier tonight. Right now there is just me - no other members and no guests. I guess there wouldn't be any point in hitting the chat room would there ;)

Insomnia does suck. I think it's about time for an early AM extended walk-run...
