It was fun though it makes me wonder, do we need to "get a life?" But CTN is a great part of my LIFE.cl15876 wrote:Good Morning! Congratulations to the 10K bunch!!!!Very Duke Blue wrote:You all must still be asleep. I'm here by myself. Good morning, when ever someone signs on.l

It is sure is quiet in here today...I guess it is the calm after the posting storm. I'm sure after a brief recovery period things will pick up again.
While I'm waiting...I think a nap is in order..

I'm home for lunch. I've already read two books today. Aiming for two more this afternoon. Four in one day would be a personal best.

The first was quite good, an extensive chronicle of the development and character of colonial Charleston's commerce.CellR wrote:Impressive!wilson wrote:I'm home for lunch. I've already read two books today. Aiming for two more this afternoon. Four in one day would be a personal best.

The second was an overview of the colonial North American economy. It's a useful survey of the topic, but I differ considerably with some of the author's claims. It will nevertheless be helpful in preparing for comps when I need a big-picture assessment like that.
Next up is a profile of a London merchant house, followed by a study of sociopolitical evolution in eighteenth-century South Carolina.

I gotta figure out if I have the CBS sports network stuff so I can watch Army this weekend. If I don't, I don't see paying for one game. I'll be bar hopping.

It seems my level of posting is inversely proportional to the amount of work I'm getting done. Funny that.
