Re: LTE 2.0
I just googled "crazie" to see if we came up anywhere. On the first page is "Crazie Talk on Twitter", which is a place for Duke fans to get news, apparently.

I believe it's Work From Home given the context.bjornolf wrote:What does WFH stand for? The only think I saw on the web was World Federation for Hemophilia. The only one I could come up with was "work for hire", but that doesn't even really make sense.DukeUsul wrote:I'm going to try to increase my WFH frequency. I'm going to aim for 1-2 times per week.
bjornolf, I don't blame your wife. If I lived in DC again, I'd do the same. Here in Durham, the commute is easier.
Life is good!

Well, shoot. I was hoping that we'd have a show with regular people on it who find love on a TV show.
So tired of reality TV stars who look like celebrities.

OH NO, that's soo sad!!!!    Did your mom or dad come to the school to have a talk with that teacher?CathyCA wrote:I hate milk, too. When I was in Head Start (yes, my parents were THAT poor), my teacher made me drink my milk at lunch one day. I told her that I didn't like it. She told me that I WOULD drink it. In fact, she stood over me until I drank it.DukeUsul wrote:Wanna know something weird? I hate milk. Loathe it. Can't stomach it.CellR wrote:I really like milk. I've had a lot of it recently.
But I LOOOOOVVVVVVVE chocolate milk. Odd huh?
And 30 seconds after I drank it, she was running off to find a mop and some towels because I regurgitated the milk and the cheeseburger I'd eaten all over the cafeteria table. And after she cleaned all that up, she put me in her car and she drove me home.
That teacher also taught me in second grade. She never, ever insisted again that I drink my milk.
Nor did any other teacher. Word gets around.

What about OREOS?windsor wrote:I like chocolate milk....I don't like 'plain' milk...unless
1) warm chocolate chip cookies
2) chocolate cake
3) chocolate brownies
are available. Then I will drink regular milk.
I love whole MILK, 1/2% milk, can't understand why anyone would want to drink skim milk and I love Chocolate Milk!!! I can handle strawberry milk, but these days, only buy it for my daughter who loves it in moderation.

Re: LTE 2.0
I put in "crazie talk", and we were the second to last entry on the first page. The first two weren't even spelled right, "crazy talk". Wow.

Starbuck's uses under-ripe beans and then over-roasts them to compensate. That's why their coffee is always bitter and burned tasting. It really is shit, and that makes their ubiquity all the more perplexing.Bostondevil wrote:OH, didn't see this before I posted about Starbucks. So, you coffee drinkers are telling me that Starbucks coffee sucks? Really? I thought it was just their tea. But then again, I think all coffee sucks, so there you go.wilson wrote:windsor wrote:Folgers crystals is not coffee by any sane definition of the word
Agreed on both counts.DukeUsul wrote:Starbucks doesn't make coffee. That stuff is swill.

Congratulations! Can you take a picture of it with self-scribed commentary so you can put in the accolades notebook? Then we can drink that coffee!!!!! Yummmm!!!! ;)CathyCA wrote:I have a bag of Starbucks Anniversary Blend on my desk. It was a gift from a client.DukeUsul wrote:Did I say I love coffee?
I would have preferred a thank-you note to a bag of coffee.

Thanks for the link. It's a fun read.
Re: LTE 2.0
Fewer than 500 posts to go, with 10:47 remaining in the day (13:47 if we allow for Pacific Time).
Totally doable.
