Nickelback's frontman, Chad Kroeger, did a really cool song with Santana a couple years back. That's the song that got me into Nickelback. Do you know Santana at least? ;)DukieInKansas wrote:

Awesome quote from Blues Brothers! I love that movie. We're on a mission from God! They were for equipment/processes I helped develop for some manufacturing lines. At the time, the idea in the company was to boost our patent count so we would show up on some lists of companies with significant #'s of patents. My best work was never patented...but was by far the coolest stuff I worked on. The two I am on are with two other people(one I worked with on the patents, the other was the boss).bjornolf wrote:What are your patents for? What are the patent numbers? I'd love to take a gander at them, being a former patent examiner.YmoBeThere wrote:I only have 3 songs of theirs. Of course, I did pay for them. I went legit on that stuff a while back. About the time my patents were approved.
Patent #'s 6,386,260 and 6,797,101
They were actually one that was split into two. And yeah, they are a little bogus, but look great on the wall.

I have no idea why I'm more productive working at home, sitting on the couch, with Sportscenter on in the background. But I am.

Are you a listed inventor? Which one? I thought you were up in Massachusetts. These guys are all listed as being in the Carolinas.YmoBeThere wrote: They were for equipment/processes I helped develop for some manufacturing lines. I always thought I'd make a good patent examiner. Lots of physics background plus lots of IT. I coulda been the next Albert Einstein, had I only gone into patent work. :-D

Yes, I moved away from NC to TN shortly after the patents were filed(I wanted to make sure I was on them so I could check patent off the To Do list.) I am not what one would call geographically stable. I have 16 or 17 posts earlier in this thread showing the states/countries I've lived in.
