I did. I used to go to games in a near empty Vet. We'd sit up in the 700 section all by ourselves. And watch em lose. It trained me for being a Duke football fan.

I attended the final game of Steve Spurrier's tenure at Duke, the 1989 All-American Bowl at historic Legion Field in Birmingham, AL. We got absolutely pounded by Texas Tech.

Growing up a 1980s Braves fan was largely the same experience.

I only went to a few Dodgers games during the '80's. Only when we went to visit my grandparents. Later, we would live on the same hill as Ron Cey and not far from Roy Campanella and Eric Davis.
