I've missed the entire colonial era and Civil War in the Milestones thread. I rue that somewhat.

No, I'm not calling her out. Just setting a goal for myself in the interim.
I'm starting to get worried that he's going to take down several other posters before this onslaught it finished...
That's quite possible. But I will be travelling Thursday and Friday and most of next week. So, no time like the present.

Green Flash :D
Oh man! I totally forgot to tell you because I was so busy heading out for the weekend. Whilst shopping for our weekend getaway, I discovered our local beer/wine guy carries Green Flash. I have picked up for you a six pack and three other bottles. I can't remember what the other three bottles were, but they're sitting in our little wine crook in Kelly's pantry.

See you 9/19 at Tilly's or 9/26 at WW?

Or both?

I wanted to take Gore but was a couple spots too early IMHO. I ended up with Forte in one league and AP in the other.

I have Brees in the other league, and I tend to avoid double dipping

Solid pick, but is that really "slipping"? In my experience, QBs are rarely 1st-round fantasy picks.

It's only a 3 hour drive from Charlotte. Maybe a little less now that I think about it. I miss living in Charlotte.

Although I have won multiple fantasy leagues in the past by picking Peyton Manning first.

No, it's points for yardage, TD passes, 2pt conv, etc. No pts for receptions.

You mentioned 09/09/09. Which equates to 9,909. That may be too tall a mountain to climb, but I figured we should take a stab at it.

Most rankings I've seen have Brees in the top 12 picks. I got him with #18.

I also won the regular season of my fantasy baseball league this year, with my brother second. We claimed the two first-round byes. We're probably a little bit too proud of that.
