Re: NASCAR 2009
With 11 races to go and running out of choices. The mid level guys looking to make the Chase are a pretty safe bet for the next race, at least that they won't hurt much. After that, I don't have much left to choose from.Lavabe wrote:And with that, you now have a commanding lead.YmoBeThere wrote:1, 5 , 7 and 35 this week

Um, isn't it Kahne? I don't think he's the guy that killed his brother in the bible.cl15876 wrote:looks like cain WINS!!!!! OMG!!!
And dangit, what happened to E this time? He was in the top 10 most of the race, got as high as 4th that I saw, and then faded down the stretch AGAIN to finish 17th. I keep hoping he's gonna break through, but even when he's there at the end, he just seems to get passed by everybody in the last few laps. What the hell is going on with him? Did they mention what was wrong with his car last night?

I don't recall hearing much during the broadcast. Since he finished out of the Top 10 they usually don't interview the drivers. Some of the more hardcore NASCAR fan sites might have some insight.bjornolf wrote:Um, isn't it Kahne? I think Robbie Gordon was the best of the C listers last night. He was good for 18th.

Re: NASCAR 2009
Is E in danger of becoming a "C" lister? Or at least a "B" lister? I'm a big fan, but his mediocre results will eventually marginalize him, won't they? Or will the Earnhardt name endear him to fans forever no matter how bad it gets? I hope he turns it around, but I'm starting to get discouraged.

Much like Danica Patrick, E has a certain marketing appeal. Will he ever be a factor in a race? Probably. Will he be a factor in the season series? It just doesn't seem likely.bjornolf wrote:Is E in danger of becoming a "C" lister? Or at least a "B" lister? I'm a big fan, but his mediocre results will eventually marginalize him, won't they? I wouldn't. Then you'd have to put a bandage and ointment over me to keep me from painful and infected... :roll:YmoBeThere wrote:I'd be happy to be a B-lister.TillyGalore wrote:He's already a B-lister in fantasy NASCAR.bjornolf wrote:Is E in danger of becoming a "C" lister?
