One of my favorite brands of mint chocolate chip ice cream is Great Value at WalMart. It is VERY minty and full of chocolate chips! It's actually better than Breyers :o
Moose Tracks for me, please.

Re: LTE 2.0
My kids all LOVE the Muppet Show DVDs, even our Katie. She probably doesn't "get" it yet, but she likes the puppets and the bright colors and the singing. I'll tell you her FAVORITE show right now is "Jack's Big Music Show". It comes on at 11:30 at night, so we TiVo it for her. She gets up and dances through the whole show. She even asks for it by name. She may only be 16 months old, but she'll point at the TV and say "Jack" over and over until we put it on for her. If we ask, she'll even say "please" and "thank you" when we put it on. ;)wilson wrote:Not sure if she'll get it. It's pretty damned weird. I'd go with Fraggle Rock...one of the most cross-generationally brilliant shows ever.DukeUsul wrote:Katie loves Elmo and Sesame Street.... might be time to introduce her to the Muppet Show (thanks for he idea wilson!). Need to see if I can find some DVDs.Sue71 wrote:

It's interesting that the top ten posters all have over 1000 posts now.

The muppets were awesome. If your afraid she won't get it (she will, we all got it as kids) then get one of the movies for her to watch first. Like the line in Muppets From Space "Baby steps, baby steps".

Correction: The Muppets are awesome. I'm anxiously monitoring developments re: the new films in progress, and some of their recent web content is brilliant.CameronBornAndBred wrote:The muppets were awesome. Nice tip, we need to try that one. Katie Claire loves the Baby Einstein sign-language DVDs. That and Elmo are like crack for her.bjornolf wrote:My kids all LOVE the Muppet Show DVDs, even our Katie. Re: LTE 2.0
We have the muppets movies, but they are probably not fast paced enough for a 16 month old. The show seems to me like it would change scenes and characters quicker and keep her attention. I dunno, we'll see.CameronBornAndBred wrote:The muppets were awesome. If your afraid she won't get it (she will, we all got it as kids) then get one of the movies for her to watch first. Re: LTE 2.0
I was thinking older...by bad (lotsa kids on CTN). I would not have gotten any tv at 16 months, much less remembered it.DukeUsul wrote:We have the muppets movies, but they are probably not fast paced enough for a 16 month old.
