Congratulations on getting organized.wilson wrote:*Exhale* Well, my room is very, very organized now. I dare say that all of my stuff is more thoroughly organized right now than at any other point in my life. Time will tell how difficult it is for me to keep it this way.

OOOH - Freedom Writers is on TNT. We watched this on a Girl's Movie Night. We didn't know anything about it - and I don't remember our picking criteria that night. It was a great movie - based on a true story. If you haven't seen it - I highly recommend it.

Re: LTE 2.0
From a chat room conversation with Lavabe, and ILJ's writings, I'm thinking it might be something different, but either way I need to get it checked out. When it's bad, it's gawdawful. Neither problem sounds like it gets better on it's own.DukieInKansas wrote:I don't know what your symptoms are, but it may not be carpal tunnel. I would wake up with a numb left hand and if I knocked my thumb, it would really hurt. I thought it was carpal tunnel and put off going to the doctor for 10 months after it first started. It took an accidental bump of my thumb and excruciating pain lasting for too long to get me to go. It was not carpal tunnel. Instead, I had De Quervain's Tendinitis - I got a cortison injection and wore a splint for 3 weeks. No more pain after that. I should have gone much sooner - bicycling trip to Italy would have been that much more enjoyable.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Thanks ILJ..I am going to get it checked out. I need to make some time in my schedul to do so, but I will sometime this coming month.

Well, I guess I'll go to bed too (in my clean, nicely arranged room), since I'm the only one in here.

And now I'm the only one here so, apparently, it is time for me to go to bed.wilson wrote:Well, I guess I'll go to bed too (in my clean, nicely arranged room), since I'm the only one in here.

Maybe, but I didn't say anything. Figured it was one of those "sucks to be me" moments. I had a fairly decent word to play, but the inadvertent letter swap gave me a good one a turn or two later. It also made me much more careful about hitting yes without reading what I was agreeing to.Turk wrote:If a player loses a turn due to technical difficulty, wouldn't a sportspersonlike opponent skip his/her turn to even things out?

Thanks Wilson. You're right about it all coming out in the wash. I might not have had the tiles for the late game bingo if not for the accidental tile swap. You never know.wilson wrote:Absolutely. Unfortunately, Arkie didn't inform me of her snafu until several turns down the line. Now we're down to the last few letters. I do sympathize, Arkie. It'll all come out in the wash, though.Turk wrote:If a player loses a turn due to technical difficulty, wouldn't a sportspersonlike opponent skip his/her turn to even things out?
Situations like this always make me think of the movie "The Butterfly Effect." An interesting movie. Basic premise is that your actions have an effect on other events in ways that you can't foresee. Any time I think about what would've happened if I had chosen differently at some point along the way I think about this movie.

I didn't have any breakfast (I rarely do) and now I'm probably going to skip lunch (I do that alot too). So I'm still hungry.Lavabe wrote:Sounds like a "What's for Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner?" thread is in order.CameronBornAndBred wrote:I'm hungry.
