Dogs are great for clearing up other pets' messes. I call my wife's dog "shitmouth" because whatever the cat leaves in the litter box never stays there long enough to throw away.
Anyways..."here, dog!"
I have never heard of this use of "yak." :ymsick: I have only heard of its use as a verb (to chatter) and a noun (the animal... 3:-O ).

I guess I live a sheltered life. :-??
I have, but I always thought it was spelled "yack", but that's just me. We used it as that when I was a kid. It's in the urban dictionary as "yack" with a hundred different meanings, all pertaining to vomit.

Couldn't you use a flashlight? I have several of them, and a few electric lanterns, in our bedroom for when the power goes out. If you have that problem with cat barf often, you might want to put a flashlight under your bed or something.

%%-
You might need those flashlights this weekend, depending on what the new storm does or doesn't do...

As for the cat yak, ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

"Yack" may be in the urban dictionary, but is "yack" in the Scrabble dictionary? :-B

Your mention of telepathic powers over animals sort of reminds me of Aquaman's ability to control undersea creatures by telepathy. Or maybe I'm mixing up my superheroes. :-B

Dogs cleaning up gack (or yack) theirs or anyone/anything elses makes me gag. blechhh. :ymsick: :ymsick: :ymsick: :ymsick:

My dogs know a 'leave it' which works as well for whatever someone urped up as it does for something that could really hurt them - no gack eating in my house. Not if they want to kiss Mommy!

I don't know if this is sad news or not, but I felt a chink in the armor this morning. I was flipping through the HBO choices, Oceans Thirteen was on, again, and I didn't even check to see if it was a scene with George in a tux. Then I thought that maybe, just maybe, I talk about him too much. :-s

So in new news, after about 5 years of use, my computer finally caught a virus and kicked the can. Time to get a new one I suppose. Until then I have to use this super-slow relic of a computer (maybe not a "relic", but it was the cheapest computer you could buy 5 years ago). Ugh, I lost all of my online class stuff and college application stuff I have saved on that computer. Luckily most of it is stored online in various places, but not all....

If it is a computer and it is five years old, relic is the correct term :D

I would say it's more like three years old... Technically five, but my cousin made it with extremely high-end parts. Originally made for gaming -- hasn't been used for that in a while.

I just retired my 3 year old computer. But I no longer buy state of the art parts because my games don't require that much processing power.

I still have my 5yo desktop, which still works. Or, did the last time I turned it on. Am now using my 2wk old laptop.

I have a 8 yo laptop that still works, but I've switched to my Netbook for portable stuff.
