I have pictures of my hubby that look exactly like George (Harrison) and vice versa.

I raise my glass in the general direction of Kansas and toast to your Dad! May good memories of him fill your heart on this, his birthday.
A toast to a life well lived. Cheers!

DinK: Don't have the stuff for a gin martini, but I'm sending major vibes and hugs your way. Cheers to your dad! :ymhug:

Thanks for all the cheers, hugs, and good wished on Dad's birthday. They helped me through the day. I must confess that I'm really not a gin person, so my boss, her husband, and I went out for margaritas this afternoon.

I have been visited by a goldfinch, a sign from my mother, this evening. It sat on the shepherd's crook holding the bird feeder about 5 feet from me. It has been a good day of memories.

It is 8/21 in Kansas and I have to shut the sliding glass door at 9pm because it is too cold in here. Who'd a thunk it?

I'm fresh out of gin. I hope a slug of bourbon will suffice.

If I find a snake, I'm inviting your First Mate to visit. Or my brother - who sent me a picture of an 11 ft rattler the other day.

Bourbon is fine - I went with tequila. And may go have a glass of wine also
