Re: OMFG, I WANT ONE!
I have to 2nd this!!!!! What I really want is a Capt. Nemo Submarine, but this will do!!!! Could you imagine exploring the undersea world for like ever (only to surface occasionally to get fresh eats, veggies, meats, etc....) The things to be discovered down there and everywhere! OMG!!!!Miles wrote:Personal Submarine
Re: OMFG, I WANT ONE!
Does it come with a personal barimetric chamber? I want one of those so I can stay young forever, too.
I want my submarine to be Duke blue, though.

Too cool for words. I must have one...right after I get my light saber so I can defend myself from pirates (pirates who aren't named 'Wilson' of course!)

First off, no. ;) Second off, I doubt the beemer's worth enough to pay for one of those.cl15876 wrote:Sell the beemer!!! The kids will love it!!!!bjornolf wrote:Those are pretty cool. I doubt I could afford one though.

According to the website I found, they start at $48K. Yea, that's more than my beemer cost when it was brand new. ;)

Due to a few member concerns, and after moderator agreement, we changed the name of the title from OMFG to OMG.

I really didn't know what it meant anyway, I was just excited to see an underwater vehicle that could go 40mph in cruising mode, but thanks for picking up the dirty diapers! You are the man! Now tell me the secret about the dishes?CameronBornAndBred wrote:Due to a few member concerns, and after moderator agreement, we changed the name of the title from OMFG to OMG.

I've always wanted a jetski... But now I could have something 10x cooler than all of my friends who have jetskis.

Re: OMG, I WANT ONE!
That explanation has a major flaw. If those specs hold true, a light saber could only be used to slice, but the Jedi have repeatedly used them in plunging motions to slice through objects tip first. There can be no mirror at the end of the blade due to the compression it would experience. It would be an extremely sharp blade with an incredibly dull point.Miles wrote:I googled this question (slow night in my house) and found this.weezie wrote:Please advise...can a light saber work underwater? It also states that things that come into contact with the "aura field" are heated to 1000 to 2000 degrees C. Well glass melts between 1400 and 1600 C.... so why wouldn't the glass filaments melt?

It's a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Plus, their technology is much more advanced than ours. Maybe they have a special glass that has a MUCH higher melting point?DukeUsul wrote:It also states that things that come into contact with the "aura field" are heated to 1000 to 2000 degrees C. I agree about the mirror at the tip. I just thought it was kind of a very powerful, constant plasma beam with a very short range.

My apologies if I have offended. I should've thought about that before letting the excitement get to me.CameronBornAndBred wrote:Due to a few member concerns, and after moderator agreement, we changed the name of the title from OMFG to OMG.
