Duke beats Georgia to advance to Regional Finals. Our pitching was fantastic.

It's really nice to see Tallon "back". Great start by Johnson.

OSU walked off the win today and will face Duke at 6.

Lots of pitchers were used today.

Great finish with 3 in the bottom of the 8th and the bullpen shuts down the Okies top of the 9th for a 3-2 win.

Murray State tried HARD to lose, but eeked it out and Duke is hosting at Coombs! :happy-bouncyblue:

Now, if Duke can get the bullshit suspension of Gracia overturned, assuming the chickenshit ump did not give Pollard a warning as the revised 2023 guideline changes dictated, then that's another + for the good guys.

Thankfully my decision not to go to a game this weekend was made for me since it is Sat-Sun. If there had been a Friday one, I would have been tempted, but since tickets sold out in 20 minutes the universe told me that I will be happy on my couch watching the TV.

GoDuke super regionals article. No intel provided on the pitching rotation but I assume Owen Proksch will start the first game.

Kyle Johnson, in for Gracia, is a killer today as he helps Duke rack up their seven runs. We're now one win from Omaha! :happy-bouncyblue:

Let’s finish it today! I’m slightly concerned about Johnson’s health. He tweaked his leg yesterday in centerfield. Announcers kept saying he rolled his ankle but it looked more like a hamstring issue to me.

Thankfully he started today, not so thankfully he gave up 5 runs. (So far)

What a stinker. No pitching, lousy defense, and no offense when we needed it.

Winner take all tonight. Our pitching has to be much better.
