Duke lost 5-4 on Saturday. Rubber Match today at 1 pm.
And Duke loses the series. Miami is a bad ACC team. We're not looking like a good one. :(

Duke trailed in their half of the 5th in this one, 7-2, and scored 6 in the 5th and 8 in the 6th, salting it away in the bottom of the 8th on the mercy rule. We were leaving campus about the time the hammer fell on the Panthers. Glad we didn't attend the contest and jinx them. #:-s

I caught the last 5 minutes of the first game, that was a good time to tune in. (Walk off three run homer) :happy-bouncyblue:
I'll have to rely on your updates for game two, we're enjoying a daycation today.

With a great chance to move into a 4 way tie for 3rd place in the ACC, the Devils soil themselves at home as they blew a 7 run lead in the 5th and 6th innings and lost in 11 innings, 9-8, to the Hokie pokies who are sub .500 in the league. X(

Duke wins 8-4 to take the series against a Top 10 team on the road. This should equate to a RPI bump.
