One week to go!!!
We'll be camping in Timbuktu next week, and they don't have the best of cell signals there, but hopefully I'll be able to at least listen. If I'm lucky enough, I'll be able to stream it, but not holding out much hope for that.
I'll be looking forward to watching the replay to see how our guys look. (Unless we lose, then I ain't watching squat.)

I am headed to San Diego on Tuesday. Flora and I are scheduled for dinner and drinks with good friends Friday afternoon and evening. Game starts at 4 pm Pacific so I doubt I see much of it. I’m going to try to stream it on my phone.

Remember the movie The Best of Times?

The first game is so close!!!

I'll be camping in The Middle of Nowhere, Va, so I'm not optimistic that I'll be able to watch/stream much less listen to it. Also, since it's a night game, and we are going to a dark sky park, even if I could, I'll likely be in the middle of a field staring through the lens of a telescope.

Long story short, I'm hoping to stream the replay later that evening. I really want to watch as opposed to listen because there are so many questions about this team that I think only having a visual will give answers to. I'm glad we aren't starting with an A&T/NCCU level cupcake; having someone that can make this a game (on their own field, to boot) will be valuable for setting the tone of September.

Masks will be now be required by Duke at all home football games. (And at every other sports venue.)

(PS, mask not required if you are actively drinking or eating, so cheer the team on with a cup in your hand. :D )

That beyond sucked. We are camping in middle of nowhere, so I took laptop to closest wifi spot to stream 2nd half.
Fuck.

Absolutely miserable performance.

The worst part was that if you didn't know what conferences these two teams were in, you could have easily thought these were similar programs in the same conference...

Their receivers were able to create space the entire game against our defensive backs (I was under the impression this was going to be one of our better position group units...)

Gunnar looked very uncomfortable when he needed to throw the ball. This was hard to watch. If he's uncomfortable against Charlotte, imagine how he will feel during a conference game.

Our d-line was not able to get pressure on their QB the entire game.

Just a really sad game to watch. Felt this was the least talented our team has looked in years.

Love the classic look! Script helmets might as well be permanent!

A&T was 1-7 on 3rd down conversions in 2nd half.
Gunnar Holmberg was 20-27 for 270 yards. That’s a respectable 10 yards per attempt.
Josh Blackwell returned a punt 29 yards.

Very happy it's not a night game, too, since I am cooking on my grill the next day for a neighborhood party, so I won't be totally dead, just mostly dead.
