I'll have none of this anti-baseball hate speech.

Unpopular hot take 1: quality soccer matches are the most watchable sports on TV.
Unpopular hot take 2: college basketball is almost unwatchable with the time outs, foul shots, and looooong replays that stretch the last two minutes of a game to over ten. Just play the fucking game already.

But when Dick Vitale is calling the game it is much more enjoyable, right?OPK wrote: ↑October 29th, 2020, 12:18 pmUnpopular hot take 1: quality soccer matches are the most watchable sports on TV.

When they started split-screening 94-feet, I almost broke my TV. I did change the channel out of spite.CameronBornAndBred wrote: ↑October 29th, 2020, 1:45 pmDon't forget the joys of a split screen interview with a 10 year old kid.

We filled up two five gallon buckets with pecans today. Thanks, Zeta!

I used to enjoy baseball on TV. I’m an Orioles fan.
I LOVE baseball on the radio. My great-grandfather (who lost his sight in his later years) and I listened to games every night for years.

My bucket list includes watching a game at every mlb park. I've been to 8-9, and Camden may be my favorite.

I bet you've seen one at either Fenway or Wrigley. Next 2 on the list if not, hopefully safely in 2021

Those two are top on my list. I have a cousin in Boston now, so hopefully I can make that trip next summer.richardjackson199 wrote: ↑October 29th, 2020, 8:35 pmI bet you've seen one at either Fenway or Wrigley. Next 2 on the list if not, hopefully safely in 2021

Agree that Fenway and Wrigley should definitely be 1 and 2. After you've been to those, also be sure to check out Pittsburgh - really nice stadium right on the river. And since the Pirates usually stink, prices are very reasonable.mattman91 wrote: ↑October 29th, 2020, 8:57 pmThose two are top on my list. Re: LTE 2.0
Setting aside our favorite team and venue (and not limited to baseball, although it seems more prevalent among baseball fans), what is the driver behind “I want to visit all the <insert sport here> stadiums?”
Asking in earnest...I generally have more interest in the teams I am watching / the competition itself and not the location.
