Good morning. It is suppose to rain with thunderstorms today so that's a good excuse to drink beer and watch TV all day.

Good morning, all! I overslept this morning; I didn’t wake up until 6:15! I had a bit of a full day yesterday, which probably explains it. I cleaned out my storage locker, and it took 3 big loads to get everything. I followed that up by mowing my yard. Planning to take it easy today.

Harrumph.
Happy birthday to Mom-of-LG, payer of Duke bill and source of endless intelligent amusement and hair-pulling.
Last night, she wanted me to recommend a lunch restaurant in Chesapeake or Portsmouth. Not too expensive, accessible for her walker, with food she likes (she doesn't like Mexican, is allergic to shellfish, etc.), and good service. Oh, and no place she goes with her friends after church on Sundays.
I moved out in 1995. Think restaurants in the area have changed since then?

Good morning! Back from a fun weekend with family in St. Paul. Great nephew William had a heartbreaking prom - teenage girls can be so mean. I hope karma does her thing quickly.

Yesterday, I picked strawberries. It didn’t take long because the are so big. The berries are really sweet. Happy Birthday to your mom LG. Enjoy your mom’s birthday dinner, where ever it might be. Dink, I’m also sending shin kicks.

Harrumph.
I haven't worn heels for ages, Dink, but I will put on ice-pick toe heels for shin kicks. Or steel-toed boots (which I do have, for lawn work), whichever you would prefer.
