Well, I was kicking off my Win7 RTM install at the same time I was posting the above, so no. Haven't been using Vista for 8 months now.Lavabe wrote:You wouldn't be working with VISTA today, would you? ;)DevilAlumna wrote:Technology hates me today.

Re: LTE 2.0
One of my friends happens to be his (Sparks) son. Their new house is *almost* done. It is ridiculous . It's something like 22,000 sq. feet, has a bowling alley with two lanes, a shooting range which is sort of strange - just a long, normal looking hallway. The kitchen floor is made up of a road or stone or something from Jerusalem and is thousand(s) of years old... Jesus could have walked on it! The home movie theater is pretty sweet as well, the ceiling has fake "stars" on it with the occasional shooting star. Apparently the stars in that room are arranged exactly like the stars appeared on the night of the Sparks' wedding. The pool is crazy, it has a swim-up bar area and a swim-up den area complete with a fireplace and a waterfall/glass wall thing that some nice pools have. Oh, and did I mention the color-changing lights underwater?
The "nanny" was there keeping an eye out while we were playing around. She lives in Wilmington and has a lot to do with the TV show One Tree Hill. She absolutely loved one of my friends that was there and told her that she was going to get my friend on the TV show! Crazy.
As awesome as the house is though, I ended up leaving with my future One Tree Hill star/friend before most of the other people left. I mean it's great, but theres something about a house of that size that makes it seem like you are at a commercial establishment, such as a country club. When I'm hanging out with my friends I would rather it be somewhere comfortable, a place at which my senses aren't being completely overloaded.
And yes, Nicholas Sparks wrote The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, Nights in Rodanthe, etc.

Sadly I missed that by a few years... However, the Star Trek movie that recently came out was amazing! I would say it's on par with any of the Star Wars movies (and I absolutely love Star Wars).DukeUsul wrote:Ozzie and I are too busy watching old episodes of Star Trek.

You just didn't know how good you had it. And just what is wrong with hanging out at a country club?CellR wrote:One of my friends happens to be his (Sparks) son. Their new house is *almost* done. It is ridiculous . It's something like 22,000 sq. feet

If I can get to 500 or more, I will have already accomplished something today. And its only 5:30 in the morning.
Re: LTE 2.0
I guess I have to put 500 in that "500" thread, huh?
Re: LTE 2.0

Re: LTE 2.0
I bought a new camera last night (a Nikon D90). After looking at several online places, I bought it at a local camera store. They matched Best Buy's price for the camera, plus I get a free camera-specific class and 100 free prints. I'm really getting the camera to get back into the game of taking pictures for fun, so the class and the opportunity to have a local source of expert information/advice swung the balance intheir favor.
